National Day.

Lol, even though I tagged to ask, but we'd still have to do it so..

Here goes.

This year's National Day has plenty of things going on,
what with all the competitions and such so yes, we are hiring! xD
But sadly, KSB + UG + KPTT/PA members probably won't make it.
So we'll probably help out with the planning and such.

1. Class costume competition.

Theme : Patriotic.

Well, the first idea [from Farah], was to get 5 people to wear T-shirts with a star.
Then one more to wear a picture of the moon on his/her T-shirt.
[All 6 Tshirts are red, refer to the Singapore Flag and you'll know why.]
The rest, not part of the 5, half would wear red and the other would wear white.

Then Basyirah mentioned about fake afro wigs.
Which would be extremely funny if the 6 people wore it.
But that's optional..

And oh! I've got a sudden idea.
Why don't some dress up as Lee Kwan Yew, Raffles, Sang Nila Utama etc?
It would be hilarious really.

Would like to see if any of you can do it (:

2. Classroom Deco.

For this one, still not much ideas yet.
It would be again a patriotic theme, with all the National Day hoohaa.
Red, White, Stars, Moon.

3. Human Pyramid.

Personally I think this one's kinda dumb, but still.
Training those people would be super fun, don't you think?

Basically, we need three people at the bottom,
two on top of them, and one more right on the top.

It's been great that we were through the semi-final.
It was great fight we had today against 2A.
Although time were confusing and we were pressurized,
our star players went home/CCAs,
we still went for it, somehow knowing there's no hope.
But, I'm proud of 2C for you just went for it.

Class gathering was as usual, DISAPPOINTING!

Hmms, we really need to co-operate next year. Imagine, after next year, we will be separated into different classes. &if we have another class gathering, I hope it won't be as disappointing as this year.

Do I need to explain the money we spent on this? Jannah's mum even paid for some of our food and yet, we still had a lot of leftovers. If you don't even care about the class, at least spare us a thought! Think about the money spent and all our efforts we put in. For those who had something on, it was ok. But just because you had no mood or felt lazy, NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Jannah, Halima, Aishah and I baked a chocolate cake for Shazlin's belated birthday and Sufyan's upcoming birthday which is tomorrow. The cake was too nice that we just ate without cutting it. Using a fork, as seen in picture 12. For more information, you know where you can get it.

Erm, for now, the class outing is still on.
However, the only things we got like, comfirmed,
are the timing from 10.30 to 3+..
& the meeting place at CCK Interchange.

Right now, Jannah is dealing with the transportation.

Sufyan is dealing with where to go, while Jannah is also giving ideas.

We've got the following places :

* Stagmont Park

I'm thinking Stagmont Park is better, cos we need to find someplace nearer.
& There's BBQ there too, not much for transportation as well.
Quite a good choice.

Now I'm just giving some more details to you guys.

Firstly, time.
Arranged to meet at 10.30am.
The whole thing will end in the afternoon, around 3+ pm .
How to go back will be decided soon enough.

Secondly, food.
You are strongly advised to eat at least a decent meal before coming.
We are only providing junk food there :D
I would like to ask for the person with class fund,
ask a few people along to get the following items :

♥ 5 packets of chips
♥ 4 bottles of soft drinks
♥ Disposable plastic cups.

Bring them along on the day itself,
& try to get it as cheap as possible, thank you.

Lastly, mode of transport.

I have inquired about the possibility of booking buses.
Not sure about the price yet.
It is expensive, so most likely the class fund will not be enough.
Everyone may have to chip in some money if you want the bus ride.

1. 2 set of English comprehension ["Eight years old cheryl..." & "Kaybird Padilla couldn't afford..."]. Be reminded to bring both set for the upcoming I.P. Coaching. Please also bring your English EOYE papers for this I.P. Coaching.

2. English Literature assignments. Log in to your asknlearn portal for this assignment. It's base on our Literature novel, Animal Farm. We are to read 3 chapters of it before school starts.

3. 3 book reviews. You know the types of books that are unallowed.

4. Maths Paper 1/2. To be handed in when school reopens.

5. History assignment, PIONEERS OF SINGAPORE. Research on one of the pioneers given according to your index number. Use your reseach to write a newsletter article[background and contributions of pioneers to the growth of Singapore]. It must consist of 350-400 words. To be handed in by the 2nd week of Term1 in 2008.

KITES.

updating now, kites that were supposed to be handed up. latest by next week, after suspected by Ms Chen and Ms Tang , suggested to put on them.(or draw)kite making will begin next week, bring crayons, colour pencils, scissors , glue, and the kind of tape where you cant tear the paper.(i think) also, if you intend to use markers, the best suggestion are metallic markers, where you DO NOT tear into the paper since you'll only be given(the paper) once.

Regarding on the behaviour of the class, i suggest that you do not bring electronic devices into the classroom and 'secretly' show people stuff on them.Teachers might just suddenly pop in. Plus, its a violation of the school rules. Please note that if anything happens in class, be sure to tell the form teacher(Ms Yeo) about things going on in the class. but make sure she doesn't faint or something X) like just now. i shall not say since its already over, but you know what i mean.Pay attention in everyone of the classes. especially ms Ng's since she says our grades are DROPPING. She makes sense and I hope you guys will get better. RIGHT PEOPLE.(its not a question, its an order.) However, please look after your self-discipline.
